Geometrical Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a Geometrical Engineer to support vehicle development by ensuring geometric convergence and dimensional compliance during the development phase. The role focuses on validating geometry through analysis measurements and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet perceived quality (Gaps & Flushness) and product requirements.
The successful candidate will contribute to the definition and validation of geometric targets ensuring alignment between design manufacturing and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure Gaps & Flushness (G&F) convergence during the vehicle development phase
Develop and validate geometry through:
Creation and convergence of part drawings
Preparation of control reports and measurement analysis
Drive geometric convergence across vehicle areas:
Front (AV) / Rear (AR)
Lateral sections
Interior components
Ensure compliance with perceived quality (PQ) standards and requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design body interior manufacturing etc.)
Lead and participate in functional synthesis meetings and coordinate with partner domains
Support issue identification analysis and resolution related to geometry and dimensional variation
