Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Mack Sales & Service is seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined Data Entry Typist to join our expanding team. This is a fully remote position designed for individuals who excel at managing high volumes of information with speed and precision. As a key member of our administrative operations you will ensure that our digital databases and records remain accurate up-to-date and organized.

Key Responsibilities

Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards data recorders or optical scanners.
Verify data by comparing it to source documents and updating existing data to ensure accuracy.
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Collaborate with the administrative team in a remote environment to meet weekly data processing deadlines.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive company and client information.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or Typist.

Fast typing skills with a strong emphasis on accuracy (touch typing is a plus).

Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Google Workspace etc.).

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote capacity.

High school diploma or equivalent; further computer training or certification is a plus
