Job Summary

This individual will serve as both a hands-on developer and key platform leader translating business requirements into robust Salesforce solutions while delivering best-in-class system governance performance and security standards.

  • Key Responsibilities

    Salesforce Platform Leadership

    • Drive system integrity data quality and platform performance through proactive monitoring and optimization
    • Manage releases sandbox environments and deployment processes following SDLC best practices
    • Establish and enforce governance policies naming conventions and documentation standards
    • Lead Salesforce administrators and standardize processes for user management roles profiles permissions and security settings

    Development & Technical Execution

    • Design and develop scalable solutions using Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Visualforce and declarative tools
    • Build custom objects workflows validation rules flows and process automation
    • Develop integrations with third-party platforms (marketing automation call center systems data platforms etc.) using APIs and middleware
    • Optimize system architecture to support performance scalability and maintainability

    Marketing & Sales Enablement

    • Partner with Salesforce Architect Marketing and Sales teams to translate campaign lead management and funnel requirements into technical solutions
    • Support lead lifecycle management attribution modeling and campaign tracking
    • Standardize dashboard and reporting strategy that delivers actionable insights for performance marketing and sales leadership
    • Ensure alignment between Salesforce and marketing automation platforms (e.g. lead scoring segmentation data sync)

    Data Management & Analytics

    • Implement data governance best practices including deduplication normalization and enrichment strategies
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (TCPA CAN-SPAM GDPR where applicable)
    • Design scalable data models that support reporting forecasting and attribution
    • Monitor and improve data hygiene across all touchpoints

    Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategy

    • Act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams aligning Salesforce capabilities with business objectives
    • Gather document and prioritize business requirements; translate into technical specifications
    • Provide recommendations for process improvements automation opportunities and system enhancements
    • Train and support end users to drive adoption and maximize platform value

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Experience

    • 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in a complex multi-user environment
    • Proven experience enhancing Marketing and Sales organizations ideally in a lead-generation or performance marketing environment
    • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions
    • Ability to adjust well in new atmosphere and have a great sense of responsibility in execution of any solution.

    Salesforce Certifications

    • Required: Platform Developer I
    • Preferred: Platform Developer II Administrator Advanced Administrator

    Technical Skills

    • Strong proficiency in Salesforce technologies including:
      • Apex SOQL SOSL
      • HTML/JS/CSS based components preferably LWC vs Aura
      • Declarative automation tools including Flow Data modeling and schema design using Standard and Custom Objects
      • Understanding of typical Sales and Service Cloud configuration
      • CI/CD tools (e.g. Salesforce DX Metadata API Gearset)
      • Additional development experience outside of Salesforce (e.g. Java Python React Angular Vanilla HTML/JS/CSS)
    • Experience with:
      • REST/SOAP API creation and consumption
      • git based Version control systems (e.g. GitLab or GitHub)
      • ETL tools and middleware platforms (e.g. MuleSoft Zapier Workato AWS)
      • Marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketing Cloud HubSpot Marketo)
      • AI developer tooling (e.g. Agentforce GitHub CoPilot Claude code)
    • Advanced reporting and dashboard development expertise
