As a Security Officer - Warehouse Centerin University Park IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to alarms access questions and guest needs with clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events and communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office warehouse and/or campus areas including building interiors loading areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned verifying credentials assisting with directions and reporting irregularities per site procedures.
• Complete routine reports and logs operate site systems such as radios and CCTV when assigned and follow escalation protocols for alarms suspicious activity and/or property concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
