Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Rounds Patrol in Culver City CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff patients and visitors document observations and respond to needs with a calm customer-focused approach. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings corridors parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards unsecured doors and unusual conditions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including alarms disturbances medical emergencies and requests for assistance from staff.
- Control access as assigned by monitoring entrances checking authorized credentials when required and directing visitors to appropriate check-in and waiting areas.
- Document and report security-related incidents observations and patrol activities according to site procedures and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
