As a Security Officer - Perimeter Sweep Patrol in Philadelphia PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a charter school location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for students staff and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff students families and visitors by following site-specific procedures supporting security-related protocols and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings hallways common areas and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points during arrival dismissal and special events by verifying authorization directing visitors to proper check-in areas and assisting with visitor management requirements.
• Respond to incidents alarms and requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with school administration and local responders as needed.
• Document patrol activities incidents and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
