Position Summary
The continued expansion of GDS Consultings P&C and Life sectorscombined with the firms strategic focus on these areas as key growthaccelerators has created a need for additional Executive Director roles.These roles will be crucial in managing and driving large strategic coreaccounts in the U.S. P&C Insurance sector overseeing delivery andsupporting sales in a business that represents over 1 million hoursannually
The role will also have a significant impact on the Life & Annuity subsectorcollaborating with Global Client Service Partners (GCSPs) to fosterinnovation and support the development of new products that addressemerging business challenges in the Life & Annuity market.
Essential Functions ofthe job
Lead large-scale transformation programs in Guidewire with the ability tomanage and execute complex transformative initiatives ensuringalignment with client goals and objectives.
Position GDS as a credible transformation partner both to the GlobalClient Service Partner (GCSP) and the client by delivering measurableand sustainable business value designed for the modern digital era
- Work with client-facing teams and leadership to prepare estimatesPoints of View position papers and contribute to sector pursuits andproposals enhancing GDS presence in the account
- Create roadshows and marketing campaigns to increase outreach andvisibility at the account strengthening GDS brand and presence within theclients organization
- Manage large-scale pursuits from start to finish collaborating with bothonshore and GDS teams. Take ownership of the entire process from initialdiscussions to closing ensuring seamless execution
- Drive skills development within the GDS P&C and Life and Annuityteam by implementing training programs certifications and Proofs ofConcept (POCs) while leveraging cross-skilling initiatives betweenbusiness consulting and technology consulting to enhance the teamscapabilities.
Analytical/DecisionMakingResponsibilities
- Operate as an autonomous professional empowered to make keydecisions related to practice growth investments in emerging technologiespeople management and market-specific strategies with minimaloversight
- Leverage a blend of domain expertise market insights and strongrelationships to drive the achievement of business objectives deliveringimpactful results through a combination of strategic vision and operationalexecution
- Collaborate closely with competency and account leaders workingtogether with their clients to uncover sector opportunities activelyparticipate in RFPs pursuits and large-scale transformation programs.Influence present propose and deliver complex transformation initiativesacross all regions driving GDS success.
Education &Experience
- Minimum qualification: Bachelors degree in Science InformationSystems Management Accounting Finance or a related field with 18years of professional experience.
- Industry experience: Prior experience working in core industry sectorsis highly desirable
- Management consulting experience: Proven experience inmanagement consulting and advisory roles particularly within InsuranceP&C and life Annuity consulting organizations is a significant advantage.
- Account management expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage large1scale accounts with a headcount exceeding 500 is a major plusshowcasing a capacity for overseeing complex client engagements andlarge teams.
Knowledge and SkillsRequirements
- Proven experience managing large accounts in the life sciencessector with a focus on accounts exceeding 500 people 1 million hours.
- Extensive consulting expertise with deep domain knowledge in P&Cand Life Annuity across the entire value chain including R&D InnovationProduct development. Demonstrated ability to sell and lead large-scaleconsulting engagements with a distributed delivery model.
- Strong relationship-building skills: Ability to establish and nurturetrusted relationships with senior executives (CEO/CIO/CTO) and other C1suite members. Serve as a thought leader and business advisor alongsideGlobal Client Service Partners (GCSPs) guiding strategic decision-makingat the highest levels
- Develop GDS market capabilities: Lead initiatives to support marketdevelopment and service delivery including recruitment training andregional integration. Position GDS as a market leader by developing bothtraditional and pay-per-use services for delivery across all regions
