Job Description
As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Bay Saint Louis MS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location you will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and quick problem solving. This is a driving post supporting site coverage and response needs. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial chemical processing location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production-adjacent areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity identify unusual conditions and report concerns.
- Control access by monitoring gates and/or entry points checking identification and authorization as required and directing visitors and deliveries to the proper locations.
- Complete required reports and logs monitor alarms and/or surveillance systems when assigned and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Have a TSA-issued TWIC.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
