Job Summary
Role Overview
Responsible for L2/L3 support administration and troubleshooting of enterprise network security infrastructure with a strong focus on Cisco & Palo Alto technologies ensuring high availability and security of client environments.
Key Responsibilities (Essentials)
Provide end-to-end support troubleshooting and administration of network security devices.
Hands-on experience with:
Cisco ASA 5500-X (with SFR modules)
Cisco Firepower Series (1000 / 2100 / 3100 / 4100)
FMC 1600 / FMCv
Palo Alto Firewalls & Panorama
Manage and support Cisco ISE (SNS 35XX series version 3.0).
Configure monitor and troubleshoot IPSec & SSL VPNs.
Understand and implement customer security policies on firewalls and security appliances.
Participate in P1/P2 incident bridge calls and drive issue resolution within SLA.
Independently handle remote troubleshooting and on-site support when required.
Ensure proper documentation reporting and escalation management
Desired Skills
Strong knowledge of network security architecture & best practices.
Experience in multi-vendor environments (Cisco Palo Alto).
Exposure to managed services / enterprise support environments preferred.
Ability to work in 247 support / critical incident scenarios.
Qualifications & Certifications
B.E./ (Computer Science / IT / ECE preferred) or equivalent.
Certifications such as:
CCNA / CCNP Security
PCNSE / Palo Alto Certifications
Any relevant network/security certifications (preferred)
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Ensure high uptime and performance of network security infrastructure.
Deliver timely resolution of incidents (especially P1/P2).
Maintain accurate documentation configurations and reports.
Adhere to SLA compliance and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
Additional Requirements
Excellent communication and email etiquette.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in customer-facing roles.
