The House of Commons Procedural Services is currently looking to create a pool of potential candidates for anticipatory staffing of the Page Supervisor position on a part-time basis.
The recruitment and selection process is restricted to individuals who have successfully completed the House of Commons Page Program. To be eligible for the part-time Page Supervisor position you must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
The Page Supervisor provides a variety of time-sensitive services to the Speaker Members of Parliament and Officers of the House. Foremost the Page Supervisor provides client support consistent application of policies and supervision of the Pages in the Chamber for daily sittings and special events. The Page Supervisor also contributes to the administrative aspects of the Page Program.
The Page Supervisor works part-time approximately 15 hours/week from September to April and 25 hours/week from May to August. When the House is sitting shifts vary to include daytime shifts late afternoons and evenings (e.g. 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) depending on operational needs.

Qualifications :
Education :
- Secondary school diploma;

- Experience in dealing with high-profile clients;
- Experience multitasking and prioritizing work demonstrating flexibility with the ability to quickly adapt to different situations;
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook Excel and Word);
- Experience in coaching mentoring and/or training resources or experience in supervision.
Assets :
- Experience preparing corporate content to publish on social media platforms;
- Experience providing administrative support services;
- Experience with Adobe and InDesign;
- Experience presenting in a public setting or in front of large groups.
