Responsibilities
TheSocial Media Internwill assist the Marketing and Communications (MarComm) team in executing the companys social media strategy across various platforms. The intern will gain hands-on experience in creating curating and scheduling content while supporting the day-to-day management of social media channels. This role will provide an opportunity to learn about social media marketing content creation audience engagement and performance analysis. The intern will work closely with the Communications team supporting ongoing campaigns and projects with the goal of enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
Social Media Content Creation & Management
- Assist increating social media content(images captions videos etc.) for platforms like LinkedIn Twitter Facebook Instagram and others.
- Helpschedule and publish postson various social media channels ensuring consistent voice and brand alignment.
- Assist with content curation identifying relevant industry news and trends to share on social media.
- Review and monitor social media channelsfor engagement comments and messages responding as appropriate or escalating to the team.
Campaign Support
- Help with theexecution of social media campaigns ensuring content is aligned with campaign objectives.
- Assist in brainstorming content ideasfor upcoming campaigns events and promotions.
- Track and report oncampaign performanceand social media metrics assisting in analyzing results and suggesting improvements.
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with theCommunications teamto develop ideas and support the teams broader strategy.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to gain insight into integrated communication efforts.
- Learn and contribute tosocial media best practicesand how they align with business goals.
Social Media Reporting
- Assist with compiling performance reportson social media content and campaigns tracking key metrics such as engagement reach and impressions.
- Contribute toanalyzing social media datato inform future content and campaign strategies.
Learning Opportunities

Qualifications
Experience and Qualifications
Currently enrolled in acollege or university program preferably inMarketing Communications Public Relations or a related field.
Familiarity withsocial media platforms(LinkedIn Twitter/X Facebook Instagram etc.) and their tools and features.
Basicwriting editing and storytellingskills with an understanding of brand voice and messaging.
Strong attention to detailand ability to create high-quality error-free content.
Creative mindsetand eagerness to contribute ideas to social media content.
Interest in learning aboutsocial media marketingdigital engagement andbrand strategy.
