BIM Specialist (Structures) Data Center projects

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Specialist (Structures) to join our team in Mumbai this role you will be responsible for developing and managing Building Information Models for large-scale data center projects. You will work collaboratively with structural engineers architects and MEP teams to ensure seamless coordination clash detection and resolution throughout the project lifecycle. • Develop maintain and update comprehensive BIM models for structural components of data center projects using industry-standard software
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with MEP and architectural teams to resolve conflicts and optimize building systems
• Analyze structural designs and create detailed 3D models that accurately represent project specifications and building codes
• Prepare construction documentation drawings and schedules derived from BIM models for contractor and stakeholder review
• Collaborate with project managers structural engineers and design teams to ensure BIM standards and protocols are consistently applied
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of BIM models to verify accuracy completeness and compliance with project requirements
• Manage and organize BIM data libraries and documentation to support efficient project delivery
• Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM workflows and best practices
• Participate in design reviews and meetings to communicate structural modeling progress and identify optimization opportunities
• Ensure all models comply with data center industry standards building codes and client specifications

Qualifications :

• 3-5 years of professional experience in BIM modeling with a focus on structural design and coordination
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks for structural modeling and clash detection
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and data center infrastructure design
• Demonstrated experience with MEP coordination and multi-disciplinary project environments
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
• Solid understanding of building codes compliance standards and data center construction requirements
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects
• Proficiency with project management tools and BIM collaboration platforms
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Preferred: Experience with Dynamo Python scripting or other BIM automation tools
• Preferred: Familiarity with data center-specific design standards and requirements
• Preferred: Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green building certifications
