As a Permanent Full Time Demi Chef your role is pivotal in maintaining the sparkle of our kitchen. Working as a Leader of the Kitchen team this position involves organising the chefs with food preparation (mis en place) ensuring a clean and tidy work area at all times and collaborating seamlessly to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our valued guests.
What you will be doing:
Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.
Prepare and ensure availability of mis en place as required.
Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Ensure all equipment is maintained serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the Executive Chef.
Organise an assigned section and ensure it runs efficiently and productively.
Lead Cooks and Kitchen Team by setting a positive example. Instructs and develops new Chefs.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
Trade qualifications.
Previous experience with bulk hot food production in busy kitchens
Knowledge of food safety requirements.

This role is base at the Qantas Lounges at the Perth Domestic and International Airport (T3&T4)
