About the role
As a Group Operations Manager youll lead the operational and business performance of all Summerset villages across the Wellington and Otago regions. Youll be part of our Operations Leadership Team working alongside Village Managers and senior leaders across clinical development property sales and support teams to deliver exceptional resident experiences and strong commercial outcomes.
This is a role with significant scope and influence from improving existing operations to helping shape and grow new villages in your region. Youll represent the Summerset brand build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure our villages remain vibrant high quality communities where residents can truly thrive.
This role is regionally based and requires regular travel across your portfolio.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Partnering with Village Managers to deliver operational business plans that lift performance and resident satisfaction.
- Ensuring villages maintain high standards of presentation service quality staffing and risk management.
- Supporting the development and establishment of new villages and ensuring resident needs are prioritised in service and design decisions.
- Building relationships across the health sector to support care related sales and admissions.
- Leading coaching and developing a team of Village Managers fostering a high performance inclusive culture.
- Working with Clinical teams to ensure high-quality care delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Leading or contributing to cross-functional projects across sales property development marketing and clinical functions.
- Promoting a zero-harm culture and ensuring health and safety expectations are upheld across your portfolio.
Qualifications :
Youll Also Bring:
- Experience leading operational performance across a multisite environment.
- Confidence in coaching supporting and developing leaders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing and facilitation.
- Strong stakeholder management capability ideally with knowledge of or exposure to the health sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Financial literacy and operational planning skills.
