Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation
Prepare and cook menu items such as breakfast dishes sandwiches salads and light meals.
Follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines.
Maintain proper food storage labeling and temperature control.
Ensure kitchen equipment and preparation areas are clean and sanitized.
Guest Service
Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders.
Provide menu information and make recommendations when needed.
Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally.
Handle guest requests concerns or complaints courteously.
Cash Handling & POS
Process orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle cash credit cards and room charges accurately.
Balance receipts and maintain transaction records.
Cleaning & Organization
Keep the bistro kitchen and service areas clean and organized.
Wash dishes utensils and cooking equipment as required.
Restock food beverages and supplies during shifts.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous restaurant café or hotel food service experience is a plus.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods.
Lift and carry items up to 2530 lbs.
Work flexible schedules including mornings evenings weekends and holidays.
The hourly rate of pay for this position is $18.62.
