Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Preparing preliminary and detailed engineering design of industrial wastewater treatment systems
- Conducting treatability laboratory experiments pilot scale testing industrial field work
- Participating in treatment plant operations and troubleshooting
- Focusing on discharge impacts on receiving water studies
- Supporting wastewater and stormwater permitting efforts
- Assisting senior staff with preparing proposals and reports
- Monitoring the construction phase of projects
- Supporting stormwater management programs
- Conducting sampling events (stormwater wastewater) in various site settings
- Performing engineering calculations
- Developing hydrologic and hydraulic models
- Assisting senior staff with preparing proposals and technical reports including compiling analytical data
- Conducting travel/field work (daytime and overnight usually in U.S.)

- Ability and willingness to work as a responsible independent team player in a consulting environment including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Experience using AutoCAD is desired but not required
- Ability to work well in a team environment with a willingness to follow detailed instructions and learn new skills
- Ability to obtain Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) needed for access to some industrial facilities.
Required Education
- Successful candidates will have an ABET accredited engineering degree in civil chemical environmental or mechanical fields. Advanced degrees a plus.
- EIT certification preferred
- On track to take PE licensure exam or existing PE licensure a plus.
Required Experience
- Candidates must be willing to travel possess a valid drivers license. Travel may include overnight stay and may be out of state or international.
- Valid drivers license required
The physical requirements of this position may include the need for climbing stooping kneeling crouching crawling reaching standing/sitting/walking pushing/pulling and lifting up to 40 certain situations this position may expose the candidate to extremes in weather (hot/cold); high noise levels to hazards such as a proximity to moving machine parts and moving vehicles electrical current and exposure to chemicals. Employees may be required to take specific training and to wear PPE on some occasions.
