Oversees all customer-facing aspects of in-person and virtual conferences and meetings as well as all phases of AV production for distribution archiving and on-demand delivery of meeting content. Essential Functions:
- Manages the ongoing operation of enterprise-wide virtual and physical conferencing/meeting and AV production facilities and assigned support staff to ensure reliable delivery of AV services for the organization.
- Establishes the agenda for AV team projects and ensures on-time on-budget delivery of project outcomes.
- Continuously seeks to optimize business processes monitoring key performance indicators to enhance service delivery.
- Oversees the integration documentation training and launch of new technologies in conference and AV production facilities.
- Oversees the archive of stored AV assets to ensure efficient and effective use of asset repositories and related retention policies.
- Partners cross-functionally to ensure maximum uptime of all new and existing AV conference spaces and utilizes network of relationships to meet organizational demand.
- Assists in the design and implementation of AV plans for new construction locations.
- Oversees the selection and use of multimedia tools techniques and applications and explains key operational issues and considerations for digital video and audio.
- Adheres to relevant organizational protocols and procedures for incident problem change configuration and asset management.
- Emphasizes the business impact of failure and the criticality and timing of needed resolution so that problems can be avoided in the future.
- Provides design input to NCH-IS Network Voice NCH Engineering and vendors on integrated conferencing solutions.
- Develops policies and procedures for AV resources and staff.
Education Requirement:
Bachelors Degree in Information Services Mass Media Electronics Visual Communication or related field or equivalent experience required.
Licensure Requirement:
Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly customer-serviced focused and promotes best practices in customer interactions and metrics.
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to formulate plans and to manage project goals objectives and staff.
- Advanced proficiency in live video production live streaming video teleconferencing and in collaboration platforms such as Zoom Teams and WebEx.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard ticketing systems and workflows.
- Demonstrated project management and project leadership abilities.
Experience:
- Five years of experience in team leadership media production and A/V conference room equipment operation integration and maintenance required.
