Division Information

PACCARs Information Division (ITD) located in Renton WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development consulting voice and data communications services to the entire corporation which has high visibility in the technology sector.

The Role

PACCAR is searching for talented individuals to join ourInternal ControlsInternship Program to start June of2026. This is a full-time position responsible for performing a variety of accounting activities and will report to the Assistant Controller Information Governance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Working closely with a consultanthelpdevelop PACCARs global record retention program byidentifyingretention requirements that PACCARoperatesin.

  • Collaborate with IT and PACCAR division stakeholders totrack statusofITinternalcontrol activitiesand deliverables.

  • Assist withITGC (IT General Controls) and ITAC (IT Application Controls) testing.

  • Perform testing related to PACCARs Internal Controland Complianceprogram.

  • Assess andidentifyways to potentially streamlinecertain processes.

  • Identifyobtainand analyzeappropriate informationto gain an understanding of the IT orbusiness processes under review.

  • Other special projects as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask within a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate clearly with team members technical support groups and management
  • Deadline-driven and self-motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently handling multiple tasks and changing priorities while meeting non-negotiable deadlines
  • Attention to detail with a big picture focus
  • Proficient computer skills including Excel Word PowerPoint and Access; SAP/RPA experience a plus.

Education

Currently enrolled in an accredited college Accounting Program or IT Program; pursuing a bachelors or masters degree.
