Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a high-level inpatient acute rehabilitation assignment in Oakland CA.
This role is ideal for clinicians with strong neuro and acute rehab experience looking to work with a complex multidisciplinary patient population.
Key Responsibilities
-
Evaluate and treat patients in an inpatient acute rehab setting

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
-
Treat complex cases including:
-
Stroke (CVA)
-
Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
-
Spinal cord injury (SCI)
-
Cancer rehab
-
Neurological and orthopedic conditions
-
-
Perform ADL training mobility interventions and cognitive rehab
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes

Complete accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
-
Active California OT License (required at submission)
-
BLS Certification (AHA in hand)

Minimum 2 years of experience

Acute Inpatient Rehab experience REQUIRED

Neuro experience REQUIRED
-
Ability to manage complex rehab patient populations
Preferred
-
EPIC EMR experience
-
Experience in large hospital rehab programs

58-bed inpatient acute rehab unit
-
Adult & geriatric population
-
Multidisciplinary team environment

Complex caseload including neuro and trauma patients

Weekend coverage may be required

Must meet 50-mile travel requirement
