Job Summary

Location: Montour Falls New York
Job Type: Contract
Assignment Details
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Evening Shift
Schedule: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend and some holidays required
Compensation
Travel Pay: $43.00 per hour
Local Pay: $36.05 per hour
(Rates based on experience and eligibility)
Position Summary
A healthcare facility in Montour Falls NY is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) environment.
The LPN will provide direct patient care administer medications monitor patient conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for residents.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care facility
Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and document vital signs symptoms and patient conditions
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing grooming and mobility
Perform wound care dressing changes and basic treatments
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
Communicate patient condition updates with Registered Nurses and physicians
Respond to medical emergencies or changes in patient status
Educate residents and families about care plans and medications
Maintain infection control and safety standards
Assist with feeding hydration monitoring and nutritional support
Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) during shifts
Required Qualifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License State of New York
Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
Strong communication observation and teamwork skills
Ability to work assigned weekends and holidays
