Utility Technician

Responsible for both the installation repair and maintenance of water mains services meters and other related appurtenances and duties related to meter reading testing and servicing. All work is done using good safety practices and in compliance with OSHA federal & state and AWWA requirements.

Qualifications:

Entry-Level

  • High school diploma.
  • Valid state drivers license in good standing.
  • First Aid Training within 12 months of hire.
  • OSHA 10 Hour Card within 12 months of hire.

Utility Technician I - Additional Requirements

  • One year of successful technician service and deemed as fully qualified by means of training experience and knowledge

Utility Technician II - Additional Requirements

  • Valid CDL-B license in good standing
  • Backflow license
  • NHDES Distribution Operator Certification I
  • Two years of successful technician service and deemed as fully qualified by means of training experience and knowledge
