What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees drivers contractors and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures access guidelines and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel and/or items entering or exiting the facility using approved methods such as ID verification visitor processing bag inspections and package screening as directed by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances staging areas dock zones and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor alarms cameras and/or access control systems maintain required logs and report maintenance or procedural issues that may impact security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
