As a Senior Supplier Development Engineerhere at Honeywell you will be the technical gatekeeper and risk owner for potential supplier scouting supplier readiness capability and compliance across APAC. This role ensures suppliers are truly ready for PPAP rampup and mass productionprotecting quality revenue and project timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Development & Risk Ownership

• Handson execution of New Supplier Assessment (NSA) Supplier Common Assessment (SCA) line readiness and PPAP buyoff.
• Ability to identify supplier risk define Supplier Development Plans (SDP) and drive closure.
• Confidence to stop or delay supplier progression when readiness is not met.

Manufacturing & Quality Engineering

• Strong factorylevel understanding of manufacturing processes (EMS / electrical / mechanical) à Automotive background is Plus.
• Working knowledge of APQP PPAP FAIR SPC control plans FMEA
• Plan and lead site audit based on Honeywell GBE requirements.
• Translate audit findings into practical verified corrective actions

CrossFunctional Leadership

• Proven experience influencing Sourcing Quality Engineering Ops and PM without direct authority.
• Clear communication with both suppliers and internal leadership.

Global Mindset and working experience

• Comfortable working with Multinational Piers and Supplier and maintain professional approach & relationships.
• Comfortable with frequent site visits and independent decisionmaking.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Experienced with handling businesscritical suppliers.
• Led supplier transitions / localization projects endtoend.
• Datadriven mindset (supplier health risk prioritization).
• Automotive / electrical / electronics EMS background.
• Has experience at Factory and Global stage.
• Has Automotive background with the same SDE function.
• Comfortable challenging suppliers and internal teams based on Quality risks.
• Able to balance speed and risk with sound judgment.

• Operates independently with strong execution discipline.
