| You will take endtoend responsibility for the design and geometric integration of steering system components. The role directly influences vehicle architecture robustness package feasibility and series readiness across multiple vehicle derivatives. You will work in a crossfunctional environment with internal BMW development teams suppliers and plants driving quality maturity and ontime delivery across all project phases. |
What should you bring along
| - Experience in the automotive industry
- Fluent English communication skills; German is an advantage
- Proven experience in design geometric integration and package development of automotive components ideally steering or chassis systems
- Experience in crossfunctional coordination with architecture teams suppliers and production interfaces
- Confident development and handling of CAD models drawings and supplier deliverables with milestone focus and release management
- Proficient user of CATIA V5(design package studies kinematics); Catia V6/3DExperience Skills are a plus
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Teams

Must have technical skill | - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Steering System(Passenger Car).
- Proficiency in Catia V-5 V-6 PLM tools Blue Diamond
- Understanding of CAD integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to have technical skills | - Experience with steering system architectures
- Familiarity with BMW tools such as PRISMA Blue Diamand BMW PDM virtual vehicle environments
- Exposure to prototype build support and concept studies
