Compensation:
Local Rate: $28/hr
Up to $1050/week Local Pay
Up to $1222/week Travel Pay

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist for a 13-week assignment in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in blood collection specimen handling and patient interaction while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify patient identity and review relevant medical information prior to procedures
Assess patient history to determine appropriate blood draw techniques
Perform blood collection through venipuncture or capillary methods
Prepare venipuncture and fingerstick sites using proper procedures
Label and prepare specimens accurately for laboratory processing and transport
Document patient information specimen details and diagnostic notes
Maintain accurate records of procedures performed
Clean maintain and ensure proper functioning of laboratory equipment
Communicate relevant information with physicians and healthcare staff
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in one or more of the following:
Hospital settings
Commercial laboratories
Blood banks
Education & Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
BLS Certification (AHA) Required
