Job Summary

Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital is a premiere clinical and academic health system providing expert pediatric care for infants children and teens with some of the most challenging medical problems. With more than half of the 259 beds in our teaching hospital devoted to intensive care level services we are the regional pediatric referral center for Floridas west coast. POSITION SUMMARY:

The physical therapist assistant (PTA) is responsible for quality clinical care as part of a multidisciplinary team at the hospital and/or outpatient care centers as assigned and is under the general supervision and direction of a licensed physical therapist. Provides clinical care activities utilizing value and evidenced based care to ensure a quality culture and to satisfy customer needs. Receives clinical review by the Rehab Regional Manager.

Shift: Dayshit - Per Diem

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree from an accredited school of PTA
  • Licensed to practice as a PTA in the state of Florida

Salary Range: Minimum $33.00/hour - Maximum $33.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
