What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as required by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings public areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Control access at designated entrances by verifying identification monitoring visitor logs screening deliveries as directed and/or directing people to appropriate service areas.
- Complete shift documentation such as incident reports patrol activity logs and equipment checks and communicate observations to supervisors and/or site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- DD214 with Honorable Discharge OR Associates Degree/60 College Credits OR Police Academy Certificate OR Corrections Academy Certificate is required.
- Baton Certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
