Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine patrols and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns support access control and document activity with clear communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by following site-specific security-related procedures access controls and/or emergency response activities.
- Carry and maintain authorized firearm and required equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policy post orders and applicable laws and/or licensing requirements.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
- Respond to alarms suspicious activity disturbances and/or critical incidents in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and/or law enforcement as needed.
- Complete incident reports shift logs and patrol documentation and communicate status updates and/or notable observations to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or client contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have prior military and honorable DD214 discharge prior law enforcement or Criminal Justice degree for hiring consideration
- Provide proof of high school diploma/GED as required by the client.
- Be 21 Years of Age.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
