Job Summary

Role: Internal Sales Engineer

Location: Knutsford Parkgate Industrial Estate

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am till 5pm. 40 hours per week (Office Based)

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially focused Internal Sales Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for customer engagement and solution selling.

What Youll Be Doing

Youll be act as a central point of contact for commercial and technical enquiries supporting customers from initial enquiry through to order processing.

  • Manage enquiries and prepare quotations aligned to customer requirements

  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers

  • Process orders and maintain CRM records of opportunities and interactions

  • Develop key accounts to increase enquiries and sales

  • Ensure margins meet company expectations and review customer terms

  • Collaborate with external sales to share leads and opportunities

What Youll Bring

  • Mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent experience

  • Experience in a technical or internal sales role within an industrial environment

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive organised approach

  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

  • (Desirable) Valve flow control oil & gas or manufacturing experience

  • Salary: 35000 to 45000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience) Discretionary bonus
