Frank is a newly established legal advisory company created to modernize how businesses access legal services.
Born out of a structural shift in the legal landscape Frank is building a tech-enabled subscription-based service that delivers high-quality legal advice in a simpler more predictable and scalable way. By combining strong legal expertise with technology and a product-oriented delivery model Frank aims to redefine how legal services are bought and consumed by scaleups and mid-market companies.
Frank is owned 50/50 by Skeil a venture studio behind several professional services companies and Molteberg Nilsen an experienced law firm focused on B2C legal support. This partnership combines deep legal expertise with proven experience in building and scaling professional services.
The ambition is to build a scalable high-margin legal advisory company with strong recurring revenue technology-enabled delivery and long-term value creation.
The Role
We are looking for a CEO to build Frank from the ground up.
This is a hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for strategy execution commercial growth and team development. The CEO will translate a clear strategic thesis into a profitable and scalable operating company.
The role sits at the intersection of strategy sales execution and technology. It requires a leader who is comfortable being deeply involved in the business particularly in the early stages.
This is not a caretaker role. It is a builder role.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Company Building
Analyse market dynamics customer needs pricing and competitive landscape
Define and continuously refine Franks value proposition service portfolio and go-to-market approach
Own and evolve the business model to ensure scalability and profitability
Set company strategy operating model and execution roadmap
Establish KPIs financial targets and performance frameworks
Build a technology roadmap aligned with commercial and operational goals
Commercial Leadership (Core Responsibility)
Personally lead early-stage business development and customer acquisition
Win initial anchor customers and strategic accounts
Build and activate partner-driven sales channels
Act as the primary commercial face of Frank externally
Operations and Scaling
Drive revenue growth margin expansion and value creation
Maintain strong control over unit economics and financial performance
Lead implementation of technology- and AI-enabled workflows
Ensure high delivery quality and operational discipline as the company scales
Team and Leadership
Recruit develop and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team
Set clear standards for performance pace and accountability
Build a culture combining legal quality with commercial urgency
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with a top-tier professional background such as:
Experience from top-tier management consulting at Director or Partner level
Investment banking private equity or senior strategy roles with strong commercial exposure
Senior roles in leading law firms (Director Partner-track or equivalent) with strong commercial orientation
Experience and Capabilities
Proven experience building or scaling businesses platforms or professional services
Strong commercial track record with ownership of revenue and customer acquisition
High analytical capacity and structured problem-solving skills
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities
Clear execution bias and comfort operating in fast-moving early-stage environments
Ability to lead across legal technology and commercial domains
Deep curiosity for technology and AI with a drive to reinvent how professional services are delivered
