Job Description
How Youll Perform the Role
The Financial Analyst is a critical and highly visible role in supporting the Enterprise Operations function from both a Financial and Operational perspective. This position is responsible for gathering consolidating and analyzing data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights that drive operational performance and help identify risks and opportunities in our Supply Chain Transformation. The Financial Analyst will support the development of new dashboards data collection and consolidation reporting tools and assist in developing and enhancing rhythms that provide visibility into business trends and enable data-driven decision-making based on performance against KPIs. This role reports to the Finance Director for Enterprise Operations and will collaborate cross- functionally with Plants & Warehouses Supply Chain Planning and Operational Excellence teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic financial leadership: Partner with Operations and Business unit leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that support business goals identify cost-saving opportunities and provide insight into areas or processes to improve overall business performance.
- Performance analysis and insights: Providing and analyzing data on key performance indicators (KPIs) productivity tracking and other operational metrics that provide insight to all levels of leadership. Identify and highlight performance trends and variances so that actions can be taken to address.
- Process improvement systems and communication: Champion continuous improvement by enhancing financial processes implementing best practices and leveraging technology. Communicate results and educate team members by presenting financial information in a manner that is clear and understood by both finance and non-finance professionals.
- Data and Digital: Be an integral member of the Novolex digital transformation activities by expanding the use of tools such as Power BI OneStream Hyperion and ensuring consistency across all sites.
- Ad Hoc: Assist in ad-hoc requests associated with continuous improvement in areas of financial performance business acumen processes standard work systems and other areas.
What We Need From You
- Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication and process skills Capable of communicating summarized results clearly and concisely at both a strategic and tactical level
- Strong analytical research and financial modeling skills - Experience working with manufacturing and standard cost accounting required
- Detail oriented - able to drive down to a product level to develop an understanding of the business drivers
- Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) Power BI HFM/Essbase OneStream with demonstrated ability to learn new systems.
- High level of integrity ethical conduct and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
- Travel approximately 10% or less
