We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Developer with extensive hands on experience using GitHub Copilot to accelerate development cycles improve code quality and modernize the tech stack

Responsibilities and Skills

As a key member of the engineering team you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining software applications within the Microsoft ecosystem with a specific focus on maximizing productivity through AI powered development tools
Your expertise with GitHub Copilot will be essential in streamlining workflows including code generation debugging testing and documentation

Key Responsibilities

AI Assisted Coding
Use GitHub Copilot and GitHub Copilot Chat in Visual Studio or VS Code to generate refactor and optimize code across projects

Code Quality and Testing
Use Copilot to write unit tests integration tests identify missing coverage and maintain code quality and consistency

Documentation and Code Review
Leverage AI tools to generate documentation from code and provide constructive architectural review feedback

Modernization and Debugging
Use GitHub Copilot capabilities to modernize legacy applications update dependencies and debug issues efficiently

Azure and Microsoft 365 Integration
Develop and integrate solutions across Azure Microsoft 365 and related platforms and optionally use Copilot for Azure or Copilot in Power Apps and Power Automate

Collaboration and Best Practices
Promote best practices for AI assisted development mentor peers and help define guidelines for responsible use of generative AI

Key Skills

Experience
2 plus years of professional experience as a Software Developer preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem

GitHub Copilot Experience
Hands on professional experience using GitHub Copilot as a daily AI pair programmer

Technical Proficiency
Strong skills in languages and frameworks such as C and JavaScript

Microsoft Stack
Experience with Azure Microsoft 365 Dynamics 365 or the Power Platform

Development Practices
Strong understanding of software engineering principles CI CD pipelines automated testing and issue tracking

Good to Have
Professional experience as a Software Developer within the Microsoft ecosystem
