Job Description: Position Overview
The Pick Specialist Intermediate is responsible for supporting daily production control operations to ensure uninterrupted plant throughput. This role supports key vehicle programs and requires strong communication problemsolving and coordination across multiple internal and external partners. The position is highly interactive working closely with crossfunctional teams in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production Control & Material Management
Perform daily activities related to Parts FollowUp Plant Scheduling Engineering Change Management Inventory Records and Shipping/Receiving.
Monitor and mitigate material inventory concerns to prevent impact on production.
Manage productive material inventory including float analysis cycle count compliance record integrity and reconciliation activities.
Inventory & Data Analysis
Analyze and report on inventory management controls to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
Support record accuracy and maintain integrity of inventory systems.
CrossFunctional Coordination
Act as a liaison between the assembly plant and internal organizations.
Collaborate with supply base carrier partners and crossfunctional teams to resolve top issues.
Interact with all levels of the organization including hourly salary bargaining nonbargaining and executive leadership.
Supplier & Stakeholder Communication
Engage directly with modular suppliers and other partners; role requires strong communication skills and comfort with direct outreach.
Participate in a highinteraction opencommunication team environment.
Candidate Profile
Outgoing confident communicator who thrives in teambased environments.
Comfortable with direct phone communication and occasional inperson supplier or facility interactions.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and resolve material flow issues.
Able to work crossfunctionally and escalate issues effectively.
Must have a Bachelors Degree if hired perm.
