Position Responsibilities:

In this role you will oversee key patient registration functions within the physical therapy department while supporting staff development and departmental operations. Responsibilities include welcoming and assisting patients maintaining accurate patient information and ensuring a smooth check-in process. You will coordinate and deliver training for both new and existing team members support onboarding activities and help maintain high service and operational standards. This position also provides leadership support to the patient registration team and serves as a resource for staff stepping in to perform supervisory duties when the department supervisor is unavailable. Additional responsibilities include assisting with departmental workflow and process improvements supporting the supervisor in developing and achieving departmental goals and objectives and monitoring daily operational reports checklists and authorization processes. You will also assist with managing the therapy pool scheduling related phone calls and creating prioritized surgical lists from the therapy pool to support efficient patient care coordination. This role contributes to team performance by providing constructive feedback to staff helping foster a positive and collaborative work environment and preparing onboarding materials to ensure new team members are successfully integrated into the department. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high-level care maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a leader in our Physical Therapy division youll be a part of a robust and talented team that works hard to keep our Therapy departments running smoothly.

Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent at least one year of customer service experience and one year of prior medical office experience. The successful candidate must have an understanding of the full scope of functionalities and duties for both the Physical Therapy Registration and Scheduling departments as well as demonstrated customer service principles and techniques. This candidate must have excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills a proven ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and accurately. This position is required to travel across our clinic locations as needed.
