NOTE: this position will be based from our San Ramon CA office following our hybrid working model of in-office 3 days a week. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

  • Have3 years of professional experiencein software development.
  • Have a strong foundation inJava(core language) with hands-on experience building backend services usingSpring Boot.
  • Have practical experience withcontainerization using Dockerandorchestration with Kubernetesin production environments.
  • Are proficient withrelational databases(e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL or HANA) including schema design query optimization and migrations.
  • Have working experience withScrumand Agile development practices including sprint planning backlog refinement and retrospectives.
  • Have experience withobservability and monitoringusing tools such asSplunkandDynatrace including log analysis dashboarding alerting and application performance management.
  • Have a solid understanding ofLarge Language Models (LLMs) what they are how they work and their practical applications in software products.
  • Have a basic understanding ofLLM Agents including agentic architectures tool use and how agent-based systems are designed and developed.
  • Have experience withprompt engineering including crafting effective system prompts few-shot examples chain-of-thought techniques and iterating on prompts to optimize LLM output quality and reliability.
  • Areproficient in using AI-powered coding toolssuch asGitHub CopilotandClaudeto accelerate development improve code quality and enhance productivity.
  • Possess strongproblem-solving skillswith a track record ofcustomer issue resolution able to diagnose triage and resolve production issues efficiently.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Have a solid understanding of software development principles including version control systems (e.g. Git) CI/CD pipelines and debugging techniques.
  • Are eager to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Designing developing and maintaining scalable and efficient software applications usingJavaandSpring Boot.
  • Writing clean maintainable and well-documented code leveragingAI coding assistantsto boost velocity without compromising quality.
  • Building and deploying services incontainerized environmentsusingDockerandKubernetes.
  • Designing and optimizingrelational databaseschemas and queries to support high-performance applications.
  • Setting up and maintainingobservability including logging monitoring and alerting withSplunkandDynatrace to ensure system reliability and rapid incident response.
  • Investigating and resolvingcustomer-reported issueswith a focus on root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.
  • Applyingprompt engineeringtechniques to design test and refine prompts for LLM-powered features ensuring consistent accurate and safe model outputs.
  • Exploring and integratingLLM-based capabilities and agentic patternsinto existing and new product features.
  • Collaborating with product managers designers and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions withinScrumceremonies.
  • Testing and debugging applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Continuously improving existing systems and processes to enhance user experience.
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies especially in theAI/LLM space and contributing innovative ideas to the team.

The targeted combined range for this position is 106900 - 229400(USD) actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skillsexperience scope ofthe role location etc. as determinedthrough theselection process.
