The Role
Were looking for a Senior Front-End Developer who blends deep technical expertise with a strong design sensibility. This role is a technical leader within our team. You will be responsible for building scalable accessible high-performance web experiences and serving as the go-to expert for complex front-end challenges.
You will own projects from concept through production translating ideas and design systems into refined production-ready solutions using modern front-end technologies (primarily React and TypeScript).
This role is focused on engineering excellence visual refinement performance accessibility and maintainable architecture.
Within Corporate Marketing our Digital Experience Engineering team plays a critical role in shaping how the world experiences Sitecore. We dont just build pageswe architect journeys that generate pipeline accelerate conversion and tell a compelling product story through performance-driven design and engineering.
What youll do
Build and engineer exceptional digital experiences
- Architect develop and maintain modern front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Translate concepts wireframes and prototypes into polished production-ready digital experiences.
- Deliver scalable enterprise-grade solutions that meet best practices in performance accessibility (WCAG) SEO and usability.
- Write clean maintainable modular CSS (Scss) with a strong understanding of scalable design systems and component libraries.
Design-driven development
- Partner closely with design and marketing stakeholders to elevate the visual and experiential quality of our web presence.
- Contribute to design thinking processesparticipating in ideation wireframing prototyping and UX refinement.
- Apply a strong visual sensibility to layout spacing motion typography and interaction design.
Sitecore platform contribution
- Learn and develop working expertise in the Sitecore platform.
- Create and manage pages within Sitecore using existing components and templates.
- Configure content stage pages for review gather stakeholder feedback and independently publish updates.
- Contribute to large migration and site-wide initiatives.
- Support content authoring and help unblock the broader team during high-priority initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and content stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely updates.
Technical leadership and collaboration
- Serve as the teams front-end subject matter expert.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other front-end developers.
- Communicate technical trade-offs and architectural decisions clearly.
- Contribute to agile planning estimation and continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with marketing product marketing design analytics and engineering stakeholders.
- Contribute to an agile workflow participating in planning estimation retrospectives and continuous improvement.
- Clearly communicate technical decisions trade-offs and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What you bring
- 5 or more years of professional front-end development experience.
- Deep expertise in React TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
- Advanced proficiency in CSS and component-based architecture.
- Strong understanding of design systems and scalable UI architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to take projects from concept to production.
- Strong knowledge of performance accessibility and SEO best practices.
- Experience working in cross-functional agile teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
