Job Summary
Description
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Design Review & Quotation: Participate in technical reviews for new project molds and provide design input to support mold cost estimation.
- Mold Design: Utilize UG NX software proficiently to create 3D models and generate detailed 2D engineering drawings for ultrasonic welding molds.
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Perform FEA on critical mold components to optimize design predict performance and enhance mold reliability.
Who You Are:
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other design engineers to ensure project consistency and efficiency solving technical challenges collectively.
- Documentation: Prepare and release the Mold List Bill of Materials (BOM) and other relevant technical documents to guide the production and machining processes.
For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree or above in Mechanical Design Mold Design or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in plastic mold design or tooling/fixture design.
- High proficiency in UG NX software for complex 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams and clients.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Knowledgeable in a wide range of machining and surface finishing techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Basic English communication skills with the ability to read and understand technical. documentation in English.
- Familiarity with engineering analysis and problem-solving tools such as QC Seven Tools 8D Report etc.
