Job Summary

This role sits within Vanguards Advisory Research Center (ARC) for Latin America part of a wellestablished capability in the U.S. and the U.K. that is now expanding to support clients across the region. ARC will play a central role in deepening Vanguards thought leadership engagement with institutional and intermediary clients in LatAm.

As such this position serves as a critical bridge between Vanguards global research and client impact in Latin America translating Vanguards global perspectives into clear regionally relevant client ready addition to research the position also requires meaningful client engagement. As such this individual will act as both a research contributor and a trusted ambassador for Vanguardrepresenting Vanguards perspectives in client meetings industry forums and internal leadership discussions. Success in this role requires intellectual curiosity strong analytical skills and the ability to convert complex research into client insights that drive client outcomes.

This hybrid role (in office TuesdayWednesdayThursday) is based in Mexico City Mexico.

Responsibilities:

Conduct original research and analysis on topics relevant to Latin American wholesale intermediary and institutional clients including investor behavior retirement readiness savings behavior portfolio construction and investor advocacy.
Monitor and synthesize Vanguards global thought leadership alongside regional market regulatory pension and wealthmanagement developments assessing relevance and applicability to Latin American clients.
Partner with internal research teams to adapt global insights into regionspecific perspectives narratives and implications.
Translate research findings into highquality clientready materials including white papers presentations briefs talking points and executivelevel summaries.
Ensure clarity consistency and alignment with Vanguards global research standards while tailoring messaging to local and regional client needs.
Incorporate feedback from clients and distribution partners to refine content and help shape the regional thoughtleadership pipeline.
Present research insights to clients and internal partners through meetings webinars and events delivering clear actionable and practical messages.
Represent Vanguard at client events and industry conferences as a subjectmatter resource and thoughtleadership spokesperson.
Build credibility with institutional and intermediary audiences by articulating Vanguards researchbased perspective in an accessible and relevant manner.
Develop strong working relationships across research distribution product and marketing teams to support coordinated delivery of thought leadership.
Participate in internal training and communications to educate stakeholders on new and established research themes.
Ensure consistency and alignment of thoughtleadership messaging across regions and divisions.

Education & Experience:

Minimum of 24 years of experience in financial services asset management pensions wealth management consulting public policy behavioral science or a related researchoriented environment (e.g. policy or thinktank).
Bachelors degree required; graduate degree preferred.
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to assess global and regional trends and generate insightful wellstructured research and content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to produce white papers briefs and executivelevel materials.
Experience producing white papers PowerPoints briefs and executive level materials etc.; required.
Experience presenting to clients or external audiences including participation in industry events conferences or similar forums.
Proven ability to work crossfunctionally and adapt global perspectives to local and regional contexts.
CFA preferred but not required.
No licenses or certifications required for this role.
