What Youll Do

Under the direction of an RN or LPN you will:

• Assist with individualized patient care to help each child achieve their highest level of wellness

• Perform designated clinical procedures and essential non-clinical support tasks

• Collaborate as part of a strong compassionate care team

• Contribute to a positive safe and supportive environment for patients and families

Education & Requirements

• High school diploma GED CNA/CPTC or enrollment in a high schoolbased healthcare career program

• Nursing students are highly encouraged to apply

• Current Mercy co-workers are also eligible

Experience

No experience required!

• If youre new to healthcare Mercy provides a 175-hour state-approved training program as part of your orientation (must be completed within 90 days of hire).

Certifications

• BLS required within one month of hire

• Completion of PCA competencies within 3 months

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

• Ability to lift push or pull 50 lbs regularly

• Prolonged standing and walking

• Ability to grip reach bend kneel twist and squat to meet patient needs
