Purpose of Position
Assist Director and Program Management to obtain optimum efficiency of Projects and Programs. Identifies areas of improvement creates projects works on projects manages and tracks the progress of programs and projects to support companyÂs short and long-range goals and objective focusing on process improvement objectives.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizationÂs policies and applicable laws. Interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Assists in the creation of performance metrics reporting and improvement targets.
- Creates reviews budgets bids proposals and schedules.
- Participate as required in the creation of project schedules.
- Coordinate with Program Manager in developing and maintaining a cost control tracking and reporting system consistent with the customers reporting requirements.
- Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and processes to meet timely deliveries and quality service.
- Hire train develop and evaluate staff. Take corrective actions as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Ensure compliance with current federal state and local regulations. Consult with Human Resources Department as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with Company standards for cost control waste reduction quality OSHA safety and complete and on time delivery at the lowest possible cost.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and company standards.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
