As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Routes in Sunnyvale TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location you will patrol assigned areas stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support access control while providing standout customer service. This is a driving post so you will use a company or site vehicle as needed while documenting activity and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests tenants and/or employees while following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail corridors common areas entrances loading areas and exterior perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor cameras alarms and/or access points as assigned and document observations and unusual conditions per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical calls and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with management and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation and communicate pertinent information during shift turnover to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
