Friday: 11:00 AM 9:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM 10:00 PM
Sunday: 7:00 AM 10:00 PM
Hours per Shift: Up to 12 Hours
Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 Hours
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technician (X-Ray Tech) to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The technician will operate X-ray imaging equipment ensure patient safety during procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images while following established radiology protocols and healthcare regulations.
This role requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures based on physician orders
Prepare and position patients for radiologic examinations
Operate radiographic equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images
Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed for patients and staff
Review images for quality and clarity prior to physician evaluation
Document imaging procedures accurately in the radiology system
Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare staff
Maintain cleanliness and proper functionality of radiology equipment
Adhere to all healthcare regulations safety standards and facility policies
Education
Associates Degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
Licensure / Certification
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification Required
New York State Radiologic Technologist License Required
Experience
Previous experience as an X-Ray Technician preferred
Experience in a hospital or clinical radiology setting preferred
Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging procedures and radiation safety
Ability to operate digital radiography equipment effectively
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Strong attention to detail in capturing and reviewing diagnostic images
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Strong teamwork and collaboration with physicians and healthcare staff
