This role is hybrid with on-site work required at our corporate office in Brentwood TN Monday through Wednesday.
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our payroll operations and ensure the accurate compliant and timely processing of both corporate and facility payrolls. This role oversees a team of Payroll Specialists and plays a key part in improving payroll processes supporting system enhancements and partnering with internal stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mentor and develop a team of Payroll Specialists.
- Oversee and participate in the processing of corporate and facility payroll within UKG.
- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with federal state and local regulations.
- Maintain strong internal controls and validate payroll data through regular audits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with HR Finance and other departments on payroll-related matters.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements within UKG to optimize payroll workflows.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of payroll experience; multi-state payroll experience strongly preferred.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of UKG (UltiPro).
- Solid understanding of payroll laws compliance requirements and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines maintain accuracy and drive team performance.
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred.
