Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long-Term Care
Location: Falmouth MA
Contract Duration: 11 Weeks
Compensation: $2177.50 per week (Travel Rate)
Schedule:
Mixed Day & Evening Shifts: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM / 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
5 8-Hour Shifts (40 Hours per Week)
Every other weekend and holiday required
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient-centered care in a long-term care setting. The LPN will support resident care by administering medications performing treatments supervising nursing assistants and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support nursing assistants and other support staff in daily care activities.
Administer medications and perform nursing procedures such as catheterization tube feedings wound care and vital sign monitoring.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation for resident admissions transfers and discharges.
Participate in patient rounds and communicate effectively with physicians and the healthcare team.
Educate residents and families about care plans treatments and health management.
Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Assist with surveys inspections and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain resident privacy and provide compassionate professional care.
Qualifications
Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
Active unrestricted LPN license in Massachusetts.
BLS/CPR and AED certification required.
Knowledge of long-term care practices and regulatory standards.
Strong communication leadership and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical job requirements.
