Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Night Shift 5x8 Hours (23:00 07:27)
Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join a psychiatric care team for a 13-week assignment. The RN will provide patient-centered mental health care while supporting a therapeutic treatment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications for up to 25 behavioral health patients per shift
Perform and document comprehensive nursing assessments
Complete shift documentation and maintain accurate patient records
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly patient progress notes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient treatment plans
Foster and maintain a therapeutic milieu for psychiatric patients
Work closely with Mental Health Therapy Aides and other nursing staff
Take on Charge Nurse responsibilities when assigned
Maintain patient safety and follow behavioral health care standards
Additional Information:
Units may have two to three RNs scheduled per shift
One RN may be assigned as the Charge Nurse depending on unit needs
All RNs contribute to overall staffing along with mental health support staff
Overtime may be available only with prior administrative approval
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Psychiatric / Behavioral Health nursing experience required
Strong patient assessment and clinical documentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative mental health care environment
