Job Summary

This position is based in the Philippines and will support the stand-up and operation of a contracted Role 2 Medical Treatment Facility located in Lal-Lo. The assignment is scheduled from April 18 through June 19 2026 and will provide expeditionary medical support to U.S. military personnel and other authorized beneficiaries operating in the region.

Please note that this is a temporary contract position and is not based in the United States. Candidates must be willing and able to travel internationally and work in an overseas operational environment for the duration of the contract.

The Paramedic provides routine acute trauma and emergency medical care in pre-hospital inter-facility and contracted settings. The role performs patient assessment basic and advanced life support airway and cardiac interventions medication administration stabilization evacuation support and required patient care documentation in accordance with local regional and state emergency medical services protocols under the direction of the systems Medical Director and consistent with Department of Defense Army and contract requirements. The position supports 24-hour operations and coordinated team-based care for authorized beneficiaries within the scope of acceptable practice for the assigned medical technician position.

  • Perform comprehensive primary and secondary patient assessments to identify and manage life-threatening conditions and to establish and prioritize medical procedures.
  • Provide basic and advanced life support to patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings including advanced airway management endotracheal intubation cricothyrotomy ventilator management cardiac monitoring 12-lead electrocardiogram interpretation defibrillation cardioversion transcutaneous pacing and cardiopulmonary resuscitation when clinically indicated and within scope of practice.
  • Administer medications by oral intravenous intraosseous intramuscular and other approved routes in accordance with established medical protocols.
  • Manage and treat trauma patients and patients experiencing medical emergencies including respiratory distress cardiac arrest stroke acute illness and non-battle-related injury in accordance with established protocols.
  • Stabilize patients for evacuation or transfer to higher levels of care as necessary and support the preparation of required evacuation reporting and coordination.
  • Complete accurate and timely patient care reports incident reports and other required documentation. Complete shift documentation before shift changes and maintain records  as directed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients families medical personnel dispatchers and other team members to support coordinated and efficient care.
  • Support patients hold capabilities for up to 72 hours through monitoring and treatment support within the contracted Role 2 in coordination with physicians Advanced Practice Providers Registered Nurses Licensed Practical Nurses Laboratory Technicians Radiology Technicians and support personnel.
  • Work assigned rotating shifts in a 24-hour operation remain on a 30-minute recall status when resting as scheduled and report to work during emergencies disasters and adverse weather conditions.
  • Comply with contract quality management credentialing licensure or certification infection control patient safety privacy security identification badge access orientation and training requirements.
  • Completes required organizational compliance education including assigned requirements that are client-specified for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications :

 

 

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

  • Full unrestricted U.S. Licensure required in a State Territory or Commonwealth (i.e. Puerto Rico) of the United States or the District of Columbia.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in the medical field.
  • Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
  • Must be able to read write and speak English to effectively communicate.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification is preferred.

 

Education Required:

  • Appropriate education required to pass and maintain the licensure or certification required for the contract medical technician position.

 

Critical Competencies:

  • Clinical judgment in emergency and trauma care within protocol-driven practice.
  • Effective communication with patients families dispatchers and multidisciplinary medical teams.
  • Accurate timely and complete documentation.
  • Teamwork in a high-stress 24-hour operational environment.
  • Compliance with patient privacy safety security and quality management requirements.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.

 

Other Special Qualifications:

  • Valid passport with at least 18 months before expiration date. Must maintain a current passport during your stay.
  • Successful completion of required background checks.
  • Must be able to relocate to Philippines for the duration of the project.
  • Must be able to read write and speak English to effectively communicate.

Additional Information :

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.

Min $575/Daily Max $591/Daily
