Job Summary
Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate will have exceptional excel/systems skills keen attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills. They will have demonstrated success in a fast-paced complex global results-oriented environment. The team needs a self-starter who is able to work efficiently and autonomously. They must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically and manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
Support month end quarterly annual operating financial planning working cross functionally with various teams including Prime Video finance accounting and business operations
Ensure data is accurately reflected in financial planning systems including Essbase and Cognos
Drive process automation to streamline current processes and enhance financial controllership
Ad hoc project support on company-wide strategic initiatives
Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders highlighting key insights and recommendations
Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Assist in developing and implementing financial policies procedures and internal controls
- 1 years of finance experience
- 2 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering Math and Computer Science)
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel Access Oracle Essbase SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning forecasting and reporting
- 2 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in TM1 Data Warehouse and SQL
- CPA
- Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
