Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependableStock Clerkto join our this role you will be responsible for receiving storing and issuing equipment materials supplies and tools. You will maintain accurate stock records ensure inventory integrity and support operational efficiency in a warehouse or storage yard environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys hands-on work with inventory and logistics. Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive sort and verify incoming stock against requisitions or invoices.
- Examine stock for quality and conformance to specifications.
- Store items in designated locations based on style size or material type.
- Issue supplies and fill orders from stock as requested.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform periodic inventory counts.
- Requisition items to replenish stock and fulfill incoming orders.
- Compile reports on stock usage inventory adjustments damage and shipment refusals.
- Mark items with identifying codes figures or letters.
- Maintain Supplies (Class II IV VIII) for production staff.
- Distribute stock to production workers
- Maintain issuance records.
Basic Qualifications
- 3 years experience in inventory control position
- 3 years experience in GCSS-A (ERPS Clerk or Supply)
- Texas drivers license required upon hire date
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Comfortable working in a maintenance environment.
- Basic math and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
- Aviation industry knowledge/terminology preferred
- MHE experience
- Prior experience in stockroom warehouse or inventory control.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
