Job Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Plans designs and provides clinical and/or laboratory instruction which reflect an understanding of the programs objectives and curriculum (12 credits of teaching per semester).
2. Evaluates student achievement of curricular and course objectives and learning outcomes related to nursing knowledge and practice.
3. Participates in advising and guidance of the students.
4. Hold office hours for the purpose of meeting with students to provide individual instruction guidance and remediation.
5. Assists in curriculum design implementation and evaluation.
6. Assists in the development evaluation and revision of student admission progression retention and graduation policies within the policies of the institution.
7. Contributes to program department and college activities and initiatives including participating in program and department faculty meetings and serving on committees and participating in university functions.
8. Participates in graduation ceremonies.
9. Participates in faculty recruitment and interview activities.
10. Performs other duties as assigned by Associate Director for the Undergraduate program and School of Nursing Director.
Required Education and Experience:
Equivalent Qualifications:
1. Masters degree in Nursing
2. Three years of full-time professional nursing clinical experience
3. Current New Mexico RN or APRN license Nursing Licensure Compact state RN license or eligible for New Mexico RN or APRN licensure
4. In good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
5. Current CPR/BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
