Job Summary
CDL-A drivers based near Mishawaka typically run miles per week with home time every two weeks hauling dry van freight throughout a consistent Midwest freight network operating across Illinois Indiana and Wisconsin.
Driver Pay
- $0.56$0.64 CPM depending on experience
- Average weekly earnings $1500$1600
- Driver performance bonus available
- $15 stop pay
Freight Details
- Dry van freight moving across Illinois Indiana and Wisconsin
- 100% no-touch freight
- Combination of drop and hook freight live loads and live unload deliveries
- Freight lanes operate within a 500 mile radius of Chicago
Home Schedule
- Home every two weeks
- Predictable Midwest regional freight lanes
Fleet Equipment
- Late-model Freightliner and Kenworth tractors
- Automatic and 10-speed transmissions
- Average tractor age approximately 1.5 years
- Trucks permanently assigned to drivers
Driver Training
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Minimum 120 hours completed at an accredited CDL training school
- 35 week paid training program with a company mentor
